KUALA TERENGGANU, 7 Sept (Bernama) — Segala aktiviti pelancongan ke Pulau Redang, sebuah pulau peranginan yang terindah di negeri ini akan ditutup selama empat bulan mulai pertengahan Oktober ini.

Setiausaha Persatuan Pengurusan & Operator Kepulauan Redang Terengganu Lorenz Law berkata ini berikutan musim tengkujuh di Pantai Timur pada waktu itu.

"Segala aktiviti pelancongan akan ditangguh sementara dan semua chalet dan resort juga akan menggunakan tempoh itu untuk menjalankan pengubahsuaian," katanya kepada Bernama Rabu.

Lorenz berkata kesemua 16 resort di Pulau Redang akan menyambung semula operasi mereka selepas 1 Mac 2012.
